Several exciting internship positions are available in PR, graphic design, sales and communications. Each of these non-paid positions will require at least 10 hours a week of your time. While we require that you work from our office in Greenbelt, Maryland, you do have the freedom to choose the times that fit best with your schedule.
All applicants should be ambitious, self-motivated, fun and energetic. Applicants will report directly to the founders of North Star Games.
Student Internship Positions for Class Credit
- PR & Marketing internship - The firm’s goal is to create awareness of North Star Games and its products through press and media coverage on both the local and national level. Duties include writing press releases and contacting newspapers, magazines, holiday gift buying guides, radio stations and other media outlets.
- Graphic and Advertising Arts internship - The firm’s goal is to create awareness for North Star Games and its products through effective corporate identity and marketing collateral. Duties include designing savvy marketing materials for advertisement, helping with the interface for an online version of Wits & Wagers, and improving the effectiveness of the North Star Games website.
- Sales & Communication internship - The firm’s goals are to increase sales of current products. Duties include contacting and networking with toy, game, hobby and gift stores channels to increase sales of North Star Games products.
