Origins 2007

We want to thank everyone for making these events so enjoyable. Hosting these events is the most fun part of our job!

The Game Show Highlights...

"Pro Vasel Players (PVP)"
Tom Vasel (The Dice Tower podcast) and Alan Moon (Designer of Ticket To Ride) did a great job at livening up the kick-off Origins event by playing practical jokes on people (mostly on us).

"Anti-Vasel League (AVL)"
Rick Thornquist and his "bad boy" friends did their best to counter-balance Tom Vasel's positive enthusiasm. Please notice that Joe Steadman's hat says "Tom Vasel is my SIDE-KICK".

"Fruit Scoot Riot"
Fact: This is the first time any team has played with banana peels on their heads.

"Will Work For FOOD or Games"
Fact: This team would not work for banana peels.

"Team We Suck!"
Well, with that attitude, what did you expect?

"Team Liver Damage"
Liver damage is better than brain damage (I guess).

"The 5 Black Shirts, Eh?!"
Hooray for beer!

"The Guild of Calamitous Intent"
There's way too much smiling here for people with calamitous intent (they're probably up to something).

"Lucky Guess"
Or so they would have you think.

"Alien Robo-Monkeys"
Although we confirmed that these three ARE aliens, we also confirmed that they ARE NOT robo-monkeys. I repeat - they are NOT robo-monkeys (but one of them can read in binary - see shirt).

"Professional Paleontologists Turned Gamer Dorks"
Although we confirmed that these two are indeed PhD paleontologists, we could not confirm for their dorkyness - they seemed normal (but we could confirm that they look very cute together).

"The Blue Balls 'n Chain"
This was the only one team that won chips on the question of how long the
Jamestown settlers went without women... Hmmm... Coincidence? I think not.

Pikachu Highlights...

This is my business partner, Satish Pillalamarri (the one on the right). Need I say more?

I probably don't need to say anymore (in fact, I probably shouldn't), but I will anyhow...
At this precise moment, Pikachu is spanking me with his little flipper!
Now do I need to say more?...

(I didn't think so)

Got T-shirt Ideas?

We are looking for good ideas for t-shirts to give away at our GenCon events. Let me know which one you prefer from the following. Better yet, if you've got some good ideas, send them to me!
