Testimonials
"Yes, there is sculpting, but what really exists inside this colorful box is a load of fun that will have you laughing and playing for hours."
—The National Parenting Center
"This game is terrific fun!"
—Stephen Glenn - prominent game designer
"Cluzzle was a hit! Before the first game was played there wasn't must interest (Clay + Puzzle, huh?). When the rest of the partygoers heard the laughter coming from the Cluzzle room, everyone was lined up to play. Thanks for designing a hilarious game."
—Marc Balgavy, in an email to us (Check out pictures from his Blog)
"Genius! Like a Reese's peanut butter bar, this game combines 2 great things together - clay & puzzles!"
—Anita Cox - Board Game Geek Website
Cluzzle is a success. There's excitement and tension, fun and hilarity...As a party game Cluzzle is highly recommended."
—Mikko Saari - Board Game Geek Website
"Cluzzle has continued to have repeat playings because of its popularity…All in all, it's a nice little party game, and one that has instant appeal, thanks to the fun clay modeling aspect…At its heart, the game is a simple party game - easy to learn, easy to play, and easy (most importantly) to have fun."
—Tom Vasel - FunAgain Games Website
"Humor and deduction in one game. Brilliant!"
"This game is one of the best party games on the market right now…While playing with clay IS fun (I had forgotten this) and so is trying to figure out what the other sculpture are supposed to be, I think the best part of this game is the funny situations that arise. This is my favorite game right now for family reunions because it is easy to teach and always leads to a great time."
—Joe Smiley - FunAgain Games Website
I LOVE their version of Barbarossa. I always thought that all the other stuff in Barbarossa was kind of annoying --- and here it is!!!! Cluzzle. Great! My congratulations to whomever.
—Frauke Kreuter - Email to us on 11/30/2005
What a great mix of FUN activities!! About once a year you come across a new game that really floats your boat. This year it was Cluzzle for me."
—James Flynn - FunAgain Games Website
"Who doesn't love making stuff out of clay? The art of making a sculpture that's hard, but not too hard, is a fine one indeed. Fun!"
—J. Mason - Board Game Geek Website
"Great party game! Really brings lots of laughter to any group of people whenever it is played!"
—Amos Lau - Board Game Geek Website
"I really love this game. But the really great thing is - so has everyone else I've played it with! Even people who usually only like card games or strategy games and people who usually dislike "creative" games seem to really love this game. Every time I play it, everyone wants to play it more than once. It's at once easy and challenging, and everyone, regardless of "artistic talent" or life background seems to enjoy it equally. 5 out of 5 stars!"
—Jessica - GameFest Website
"We were having waaaaay too much fun with the clay and sculpting things…it was great fun!"
—Angela Kincaid - Board Game Geek Website
"This game is great! Very different from other games like Pictionary because you don't need to be an artist to do well. My friends and I can't stop playing it. 5 out of 5 stars!"
—David - GameFest Website
"Cluzzle is really fabulous - it has appealed to people from their late 20's to mid 60's and to people of lots of different backgrounds - that's a rare thing. I've yet to find anyone who hasn't wanted to play at least 2 full games at a sitting - and these are people who usually can't agree on games at all."

"I wanted to let you know: I have now tried Cluzzle with my 4th - 8th grade special ed students and you're a hit!! I have become a much more popular teacher now. They love it, it has helped them expand their vocabulary, sparked discussion, and definitely fueled creativity. Our social worker and our speech pathologist have both either joined in or observed games since I've been using it in class. They both like it a lot also."
—Miwa Nunes - Email to Us
"Cluzzle is a wonderful party game, as every player is actively involved throughout the proceedings. Further, the most talented artist in your group does not have an advantage, since it is best to be rather ambiguous with your sculptures… So, grab your clay and get ready to cluzzle!"
—Greg Schloesser - Knucklebones Magazine
"A good party game where you can't help but laugh at the sculptures."
—Tom McGreevy - Board Game Geek Website
"Cluzzle: this is easily my most played game in the last month."
—Derk Solko - Email to Us
"My husband, Marc, bought Cluzzle right away and the neighborhood children played it for hours that day and many times since! We as adults have also played with our neighbors. Even got the grandparents to play with the kids. It is great fun. My son decided to buy it for his best friend (they are 10 & 11). So we had people from the age of 8 - 80 playing Cluzzle!"
—Diane Siegel - Email to Us (12/21/2004)
"Fills the social party game niche with a new, fun gaming activity: sculpting. That there's no emphasis on being an amazingly talented artist/sculptor makes the game accessible to almost everyone."
—Mario Lanza - Board Game Geek Website
"Great game…I find myself relaxing and enjoying the clay…Lots of laughs as well."
—Curt Collins - Board Game Geek Website
"One of my favorite party games. Really enjoyable answering questions in an obscure fashion. The fact that the worse you are at sculpting, the better you will do is almost a built in game balancer."
—David Fair - Board Game Geek Website
"If you want pure party fun, go with this."
—Doug Adams - Board Game Geek Website
"A great party game. The more the merrier. Hilarious fun while getting your hands dirty."
—Mulan Wong - Board Game Geek Website
"I didn't think I'd like it because I don't generally like party games but I laughed my tail off playing this one with a good crowd."
—Anye Sellers - Board Game Geek Website
"The clay sculpting game. I prefer it to Barbarossa or the Cranium clues."
—Brian Leet - Board Game Geek Website
Cluzzle is a great game to pull out for a mixed crowd. It's a ton of fun, and has the added benefit of getting you to think outside the box. Having worked with kids for over three years, I have had a chance to play a wide variety of games with children aged 6 - 12. Cluzzle is definitely one of the better games which will be enjoyed equally by kids and adults…I think there is enough in this game to keep children fully engaged, while adults can explore some of the more strategic elements in the game.
Everyone I play Cluzzle with ends up wanting to play again. Probably because half the time we were laughing too hard to concentrate on the game! There is a lot of replayability and fun in this game. A very good buy for your money."
—Nataline Viray-Fung - Toys "R" Us Online
"This was a blast…as a fun group activity, it hits the mark."
—James Torr - Board Game Geek Website
"Good party game, everybody likes working with clay!"
—Lyle Wenger - Board Game Geek Website
"A very good party deduction game. Suitable for all kinds of players - esp. a group of males and females. I can practice my creativity and handcraft skill in this game. I think it's better than Pictionary - nicer player interaction and I like the clay more."
—Star - Board Game Geek Website
"Good party game. No rules, individual sculpting, and constant interaction by the players during the guessing phase keeps the game interesting and accessible for all types of players."
—Matt Jenkins - Board Game Geek Website
"It's a fun game where people laugh a lot..When people make stuff out of clay, you always end up with stuff that gets funny looks."
—Peter Ford - Board Game Geek Website
"Like Balderdash, but much better when things get a little ridiculous."
—Dan Sergott - Board Game Geek Website
"This was a great party game, a lot like Charades and great for most ages…I give it a 10 out of 10."
—Josh McQueen - GameFest Website
"Finally, a group game where everyone can participate, enjoy themselves, and think outside the box. It's hands-on, rowdy, and definitely the next "big thing" in gaming. It worked perfectly as an ice-breaker game and is just as fun amongst friends who have known each other for years. Mold on!"
—Adam Harris - Fair Play Games Website
"The pure absurdity of it had us on the ground laughing several times. Definitely a good game to get people laughing. At the same time, there was enough strategy that we all wanted to play again after the first try. This is the coolest new game I've seen for several years now."
—Jon Kopp - Fair Play Games Website
"No other game from last year's event generated so much laughter and excitement… Cluzzle is so simple most people just start playing. As it is now, I bring Cluzzle with me whenever I may be playing games. It works well with many styles of play, from extremely light party gaming to more competitive deduction.
I see myself playing a lot of Cluzzle in the future. It can be a quick filler or a party game to play over and over for a few hours…With very simple rules, the excitement of turn-free questioning and the attention this one gets in public, I'm always up for a game."
—Mike Petty, Manager of Fair Play Games
"This is both a great party game and a wonderful family game. It stimulates imagination and creativity, and is also a lot of fun. I am a bad sculptor, but I still like to express myself in clay…Great conversation starter."
—Mirta Gilasec - FunAgain Games Website
"Cluzzle = fun + learning!! I am a special education resource teacher and I recently tried this game with all my 4th - 8th grade students. The response was great. They picked up the rules quickly and really got into playing. As a great side benefit, I've also seen improvements in their analysis of stories and word problems - based on practicing their questioning skills through Cluzzle!!
Our school social worker and speech pathologist have both participated in the game at my students' invitation. They're both now hooked too! I told them they have to get their own and they both said they definitely will. I especially love the freedom to not be good, it really helped my students with low self esteem get up the gumption to try it.
This is definitely the best game I've come across in a while. I'm thinking about getting a second one for home so I don't have to keep lugging this one back and forth. Buy it, you won't regret it!"
—Miwa Nunes - FunAgain Games Website
"Clayful and interesting! I play a lot of games…Cluzzle is definitely something fresh and new!!
So why is this game so great? One reason is that it is fun to make things out of clay. It is even better that you don't have to be a good artist to be good at this part of the game. In fact, there is no time limit for making your sculpture. For this reason, the first half of the game is usually a relaxing clay-fest where people sit around and joke while making things with clay. Then the timer is flipped and everything gets frenetic for a few minutes. This is the fun and exciting part of the game where tons of humorous situations arise. All in all, the game is a great balance of creativity and intellectual stimulation. The best part is that the game takes less than 20 minutes which means that it is easy to get friends to join you, and that you'll usually want to play the game 2 or 3 times in a sitting. I have already played this game more than 10 times now and it is still great fun. I highly recommend it."
—Bobby Chinworth - FunAgain Games Website
"This game is so much fun! I have played with young kids while babysitting, as well as with my friends and adults, and everyone always seems to have a great time with it. You will always be surprised to see how people choose to sculpt their clay puzzles. This game is extremely vocal and engaging for all participants ...and you will not want to stop playing!"
—Nimmi - Toys "R" Us Online
"The laugh factor is huge. We played with a 20-something crowd, and found that the jokes were pretty much endless. A good laugh was had by all, as we pointed out various alternate possibilities for puzzles, or scratched our heads trying to figure out just what that extra glob of clay was meant to represent.
From the most serious players, all the way up to the strictly party-gamers, this one was a success…I would be inclined to recommend this game to families with young children, as this could be the 'Pictionary' of their generation. I would also recommend this to people who like party games, or have friends that would provide extra humor to their creations."
—Kevin Nesbitt - Toys "R" Us Online
"Cluzzle is a fun party game where you are trying to sculpt out clues, but in such a way that people take more than one round to guess the object, and that not everyone manages to guess it. I was dubious, but this turned out to be a lot of fun."
—Geoff Speare - Spiel Freaks Website
"Cluzzle is a great game for everyone! I love games, as do most of my family and friends. The difficulty is that we often like different games…I bought Cluzzle because I tend to prefer "friendly" games, and I thought playing with clay would be fun. It was! The unexpected surprise was how appealing this game is to everyone who has played it so far. Everyone I've played this with has enjoyed the game, and they always want to play it more than once at a sitting. When they say you don't have to be good at sculpting, they are so right! Even those who needed a little coaxing ("I'm not artistic!") have found that sometimes, it's better not to be detailed. It's really fun to figure out how to depict the clue to those you are playing with - but not so well that they guess it right away. It's a very equal opportunity game, and so friendly that everyone comes away having had a good time, no matter who wins. It's easy to learn, works as well with 3 players as with 6, and seems to cross different ages and skill levels beautifully.
A great addition to any game collection!"
—Jessica Dahl - Toys "R" Us Online
"This is a distilled Barbarossa, refined down to the purest, and most fun, elements. If you like Barbarossa (and I do!), you should love Cluzzle. If you find Barbarossa fiddly and over-long, you should still love Cluzzle."
