Aug 8, 2026 - NorthStar Game Studio announces the release of Nature: Climate, the sixth module for its acclaimed ecosystem strategy game Nature.

Nature: Climate is a redesign of the award-winning Evolution: Climate, rebuilt from feedback from more than 400 fans, bringing one of Earth’s most powerful forces of change into the ecosystem: a constantly shifting environment. It’s the largest and most immersive experience yet released for the core game.

“Fans told us the climate didn’t move enough. It felt too static,” said Dominic Crapuchettes, owner and designer at NorthStar Game Studio. “We rebuilt the track to drive a more varied thematic impact.”

Climate adds a climate track, 2 climate dice, and 8 new traits that help species adapt to a dramatically shifting world.

THE NATURE GAME SYSTEM
Nature features a modular system that lets players shape the ecosystem. The first module, Flight, offers reduced conflict. The second module, Jurassic, creates a more aggressive experience. And now with the sixth module, Climate adds shifting environmental pressure. With 6 modules and 4 mini-modules, there are hundreds of unique ecosystems to explore!
