Nature: Spring Mini-Module

The Spring Mini-Module was designed in early 2025 as a way for Nature Kickstarter backers to support NorthStar during the tariff crisis. In return, backers received a meaningful, game-worthy thank-you.

The timing of the tariff changes meant we needed to act fast, giving backers just 10 days to add the Spring Mini-Module to their orders. We were blown away by the response.

Over 2,000 backers answered our call, adding the Spring Mini-Module to their pledge, and over 500 backers donated thousands more to support us through unpredictable times.

While we know $20 is a high price for a mini-module, we will be keeping the price set at this amount to honor the community that supported us.

Spring Mini-Module Rules

When discarding a card to add food to the Watering Hole, place an Egg token there.

Egg tokens are treated as Plant Food in all respects except for the following:
- Only a species with Opportunistic may eat an Egg token.
- At the start of your turn, if one of your Egg tokens remains in the Watering Hole, discard it and increase the population of one of your species by 1.
